Other Formal Events

From wardrobe consulting to expert tailoring to coordinating all attire and accessories for an event, Perfect Fit is your partner in making you love the way you look. We help grooms and groomsmen look their best for weddings, and we show teens how to make a statement at prom.

But what about other formal events?

If you’ve received an event invitation stating that the expected attire for the affair is “white tie” or “black tie” or “formal attire,” what do you wear? If the invite specifies “white tie,” which is also known as full evening dress and is the most formal of dress codes, then white ties and tails must be worn by men. Women should wear a formal gown to these events.

With “black tie” invitations, men should wear a tuxedo with a black tie and cummerbund, and women could wear gowns or chic dresses. “Formal attire” usually indicates a tuxedo or formal dark suit for men, and again, a gown or appropriately beautiful dress for women.

Still a little confusing? Never fear. Let Perfect Fit help you with all of your needs. From rentals to purchases to custom looks, we can help you find the best-suited attire for any occasion. We will work with you to make expert recommendations to ensure that you look your absolute best!
